Taking a deep breath and counting to ten . . .
No one else scheduled mischief time? No wonder it is taking me longer to graduate than all my friends.
I am taking Biblical Hermeneutics with Rob Plummer online this Fall. I hope to visit the campus again sometime (tentatively planning to move to Louisville in the summer of 2008 or 2009) and would enjoy meeting any other fellow bloggers. I am in the Bristol, Virginia (Tri-Cities, TN – Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City) area in case there are any other folks taking distance courses nearby.
Tony,
That’s because you have the spiritual gift of mischief. You need to keep pumping out those YouTube videos.
BTW, does anyone know if the Fall chapel schedule is out?
Nevermind, here it is:

Timmy,
Looks like we’ll have Systematic III together. I’ll see you in there.
Brandon
Timmy,
I’ve taken Wellum for hermeneutics and Wright for CHII. Those were two of my favorite classes. Hope you enjoy them as well.

Seems like this fall’s chapel schedule is pretty low-key.
Brandon,
I’ll be looking for you. Are you up on the reading?
Andrew,
Thanks for the encouragement. I will need it.
Stephen,
I thought the same thing. Although I look forward to hearing David Platt and Eric Redmond. Those two got my attention the most (and Dr. Haykin).

As for chapel, I wouldn’t call it low-key. Dr. Mohler is beginning another year long series like he did on the 10 Commandments. This year, he is preaching a total of 14 messages on the Apostle’s Creed. That should be good. Also, I am looking fwd to hearing Buster Brown out of East Cooper in SC, esp since it will be Missions Week. Their church is doing some great work in South Asia under his leadership!

[...] Summer is officially over, and school starts Monday. This summer came and went in a hurry. There have been several other projects I have been working on which I hope to share with you by early Fall. I am really excited about them. Also, be checking out Said at Southern as we continue to add content to the website. Tony and Trevin traveled to Nashville to do a couple of podcast interviews which will be available soon. To see what some students are taking this semester, go here. [...]
