Best Day To Date

According to WordPress stats today Said at Southern hit it’s highest page views to date 1,843.

Thanks to Justin Taylor who dumped about 500 of those visitors our direction and Owen who wrote the posts that earned all that link love.

Congrats to Owen’s podcast, which has now 560+ downloads! (Yes Owen, I told you people would be interested in your story.) Of course NT Wright had 4800+ downloads, Derek Webb has 2000+ and MLK had 1200+

It’s really remarkable how our little web community has grown – the best part is we’re sending over 100 visitors per day out to the blogs we track. The whole project is build to disperse the traffic to our network bloggers.

Justin Taylor (God bless his soul) ain’t got nothing on the Ron Paul revolutionaries. Once they get a hold of an article that you write about Ron Paul…it’s all over but the counting…

I haven’t baited the Paul People. Something to think about.

The site just keeps getting better, Tony. I wouldn’t be surprised to see 1,800 become a regular day at S@S in the future.

I pray that those of us grateful to be a part of this website will stay humble, wise, and edifying.

It was so kind of JT to blog that series. It’s nothing special, but man, when the kingmaker links to you, the hits just come…

In other news, I have full intentions of eventually catching up to NT Wright’s podcast numbers. I only have 4,200 downloads to go. Perhaps if I..uh..grow a beard, refigure Pauline studies, and adopt an English accent?

    Owen, you totally should.

We’ve been extremely appreciative of this site over at Christ and Pop Culture. You’ve given us a bit of a base audience that we can rely on whenever we’re linked as “well said.” Special thanks for linking us on your big day.

Can anyone photo shop Owen with gray beard?
