N.T. Wright Coming To Kentucky

News from the Asbury Theological Seminary:

N.T. “Tom” Wright, the Bishop of Durham in the Church of England and a leading British New Testament scholar, will visit Asbury Theological Seminary Nov. 13-14, 2007. Details are not yet finalized, but a public lecture is planned addressing the use of Scripture in contemporary political discourse. More details will be released when available.

    Is he coming back to Southern too? I think the last time he lectured on campus was in the late 90′s.

    If you want more news of the Bishop of Durham, he has flown to the States this year, and will soon be flying to the Bahamas.

    He has also recently taken part in a 10 mile march to warn people about carbon dioxide emissions and given an interview on the subject of Christians and climate change.
