SBC Presidential Endorsement?

Just in case you are wondering, Said at Southern won’t be endorsing any nominee for SBC President. Let me explain why:

  1. I’m still hoping for vote for Dr. Mohler, if he is nominated against his wishes.
  2. Some people still think this blog is in some way “controlled” by the seminary administration. Of course, it is a completely unofficial student run project.
  3. It wouldn’t sway many votes, except a few in other directions out of protest.
  4. No one has offered an acceptable bribe, I mean sponsorship.

But I do somewhat know one of the six nominees. So, I will non-officially refer you to the case he has been making for his presidential bid on his blog. And again he says it’s time for change.
