Strange Way To Rethink A Blog

The downsized version of Said at Southern (click through to see if you’re reading via RSS) began this weekend when I had the FLU. Somewhere between talking with Job’s wife and promising to organize my top bookshelf at the church, I discovered that I was done with this blog.

I probably own more of an explanation, especially to all hundreds of real people who come here every day. But my digression would be much too long to interest anyone.

So, starting 15 minutes ago, Said at Southern is in aggregation mode. This means I’ve done everything I can to point visitors to all the blogs we feature right on the homepage. I’ll still be blogging away elsewhere for now, and this blog could make a comeback if I go back for more school in 2010.

And just in case you’re thinking this is another mischievous publicity stunt . . . no it’s not. No public outcry needed.

wow … I’m impressed. I’m confident your reasons are sober. We will indeed mourn the absence of your presence in the lower galactical multi-blogospheric postwaves.

That is … we will miss you.
