Testing New Comment Widgets

I’ve re-activates a recent comments widget that I’d used a while back, you can see it in the right sidebar. Basically it pulls the most recent # of comments I define and organizes them by post.

That means readers can go directly to active conversations.

The downside is that it doesn’t link directly back to your blog, of course the top commentators widget will do that. It’s set for the most active 14 commentators over the previous 14 days and it refreshes once per hour.

Of course, comment luv is still active and should help people notice your blog too.

These are fun plugins, but more improtantly the work to make Said at Southern more about conversation. I have a post in draft mode discussing that approach. Look for it next week.
