Why Albert Mohler Did Not Sign The Southern Baptist Environment & Climate Initative

by Tony Kummer on March 11, 2008

I wanted to follow up last night’s post about Southern Baptist’s and the environment by pointing you to Dr. Mohler’s thoughtful response.

He had Jonathan Merritt as a guest on his radio show this evening. The interview was fair and Dr. Mohler was very gracious as always. At the very end of the program Mohler summarized his own take on the situation and explained why he would not sign the statement.

You can find it at time marker 34:10 of the radio program.

I like Dr. Mohler’s take. What I really want to know is what inspired Malcolm Yarnell to have unsigned the document.
